Tonecheer's "The Pastoral Home" is a specialized 3D DIY miniature house kit that uniquely functions as a multisensory sound machine and book nook display. Released as part of Tonecheer's "Sound Machine" Room Series, it recreates the cozy interior of a rustic American country cottage, blending traditional hands-on modeling with dynamic electronic elements.
Core Features & Electronics
Unlike standard miniature kits that only feature static lighting or simple music boxes, this kit stands out for its high-tech, interactive features:
- Dynamic LCD Screen: A real-time changing color LCD screen is built directly behind the cottage window. It displays moving outdoor scenery, such as trees blowing in the wind or a changing sky.
- Six-Mode Soundscape Immersion: It is equipped with a large 2-inch speaker controlled by physical switches and dials on the unit's front panel. Users can toggle through six ambient audio modes—Breeze Blowing, Stream Flowing, Birds Singing, Insects Chirping, Thunder Rumbling, and Fire Crackling—which synchronize directly with the lighting inside the hearth and the LCD window scenery.
- Integrated Power & Timers: The electronics are powered via an easy-to-conceal USB-C cord or user-provided batteries, and include a timed shutdown feature for energy-efficient bedside or shelf use.
Design & Aesthetic Details
The interior captures a peaceful, nostalgic country lifestyle. The kit includes tiny vintage furniture pieces, an ornate bookshelf loaded with miniature books, a rustic wooden table and chairs, a fireplace, a wall clock, and a small cat figurine sleeping in the room. The backside of the cottage is completely finished so it looks clean from any angle, and it comes packaged with a three-piece clear acrylic dust cover to keep the detailed scene pristine on your shelf.
